Family & Children's Service

Family & Children's Service is one of the oldest nonprofit organizations in the Twin Cities, giving families help and hope for 130 years. Our mission is to build strong families, vital communities and capable children by working in three ways:

1. Helping people solve problems, including family violence, school failure, delinquency, depression and prostitution.

2. Helping people prevent problems by teaching skills in parenting, anger management and conflict resolution.

3. Helping people change community conditions by gathering together families in distressed neighborhoods, and by advocating for children and families throughout Minnesota.
