About this user
In 1990, Robin De Danann began a decade of devotion to learning the art of women's movement: bellydance. After ten years of study, she adopted bellydance not only as a dance style, but as a lifestyle.
Over the years, Robin continued to study this dance form, both with professional programs and private coaching. Her spare time was spent watching and learning from DVDs and videos at home, and occasionally going to workshops with some of the world's most famous bellydance performers.
Robin's teaching and performing styles are influenced by numerous life experiences including birthing & raising 4 daughters, 2 years of home-schooling her children, studying Kinesiology at McMaster University, playing 6 musical instruments, achieving second-level certification in Therapeutic Touch, competing in & winning several beauty pageants including Miss Hamilton and Miss Canada International, and 2 years of cheerleading for the Hamilton Tiger Cats.
She has also taught (and continues to teach) at various yoga & dance studios, McMaster University, and at her own school, "Everyday Bellydance For Everyday Women."
