Everett Dance Theatre's mission is to create, perform, teach, and build community through the arts with a special emphasis on providing professional-level training and arts experiences to low-income, inner city youth who have limited access to the arts. The organization is highly committed to nurturing the development of culturally diverse youth. The use of video is central to Everett's educational work, as it is an unparalleled tool with which to investigate important issues most directly relating to youth, and spread the work to a wide community.
