He's right, the media have an interest in stirring this up, and stringing this story along for as long as they can. That doesn't absolve others of blame, but a mountain is being made of a molehill here.

Apollo was the focus of attention of many of the world's professionals, including scientists, engineers, journalists, politicians etc. Those guys were all fooled? Bought ...

@scaloi That's because the LM is the only thing high enough to have such a shadow in shot. And it's on the CORRECT side - the shadows in the craters are to the right, meaning the sun is to the right as the craters sit below the surface - so the LM shadow is to the left as it sits above the surface.
