@ThatxUrrutiaxKid what the fuck are you talking about, it was saved and travelled in the opposite direction therefore its no longer moving towards the goal but away from it. as soon as it stops moving towards the goal (e.g. lost its forward momentum) then the penalty kick is registered as a miss.
shouldnt of stood anyway, the rule is that when the ball loses its forward momentum then the penalty has either been scored or missed. as soon as the ball hit the bar it lost its forward momentum and should therefore have been ruled as a miss. annoying when refs dont seem to know the rules
people can quote the rules all they want and dispute whether it was correct or not but in reality the ref has to use his common sense from now and again, only in extreme cases where a player is gaining an advantage from entering the area should a kick be re-taken. nobody wants to see situations l...
