@BadBube - he's only what, 33 or 34? He's just coming into his prime - and they are definitely going to do their best to bring him back to Boston in 2013 or 2015. He was brilliant in this and I can't wait to see what he does next.

@CiboCeleste - after hearing this back-to-back with the BEMF performance, I have to say that Jaroussky blows Laszczkowski out of the water. So glad both versions are up to compare...but seriously, I hope that the BEMF records this. They did a stunning job.

I saw this in Great Barrington and literally could not take my eyes from Jaroussky. Amazing.

Nope, they won in 1991 as well, when they were the Whalers' farm team. This is from 1990, when they were the Islanders' affiliate.

BTW - were the singers individually miked? Some of the singing from the rear of the stage sounded clearer than from the middle or front of the stage and I was curious. Thanks!
