Moses Leonard Pertab (EvaBlazin) was born on November 8, in the capital city of Georgetown, Guyana. The first of two children, he began his musical journey at age fourteen- becoming a DJ on a local sound system where influences from the likes of Terror Fabulous, Spragga Benz, Garnett Silk, and Bob Marley led to a career in singing. While claiming Reggae as his biggest influence, 'because of the voice it gives to the people', the singer/songwriter, producer and humanitarian attributes his melodic flow to a diverse taste in music, which includes: Rock and Roll, Pop, R&B, Soca, and traditional Indian music.

During his career, Evablazin has performed as an opening act for Jay-Z and Rihanna at the Asian Hip Hop Festival which headlined Nas. Over the years he has collaborated with numerous artists including Yuichiro "Iceman" Tanaka, Thaitanium, Nikki Con, and Joe Chillin. In addition to his solo career, EvaBlazin is an active member of the Japanese group Tom Yum Samurai. During 2010 the singer has appeared on many compilations and mixtapes with artists from around the world.

With a number of performances in Thailand, Singapore, Japan and recently Guyana already under his belt, and collaborations with some of Asia's biggest artists, it is safe to say that EvaBlazin is an ambassador for Reggae worldwide. His versatility as an artist and his likeable character has brought him to a level of success dreams are made of...

EvaBlazin has only skimmed the surface of what he hopes to accomplish in the music industry.. Today he is currently working on his solo debut album which promises to set the bar with its catchy, positive, inspiring melodies and lyrics...

One of his favorite quotes is: "The goodness of a man is judged by his actions" - there is no doubt that EvaBlazin will continue to create quality music that will significantly contribute to the growth of the Reggae industry and beyond.
