No seu primeiro gol no Brasileirão 2009 Nilmar talvez tenha feito o mais lindo gol de toda a competição. Tudo
começou com um bom lançamento de D´Alessandro para Nilmar, que recebeu pela ponta direita. O atacante partiu então em velocidade a dribles para cima de toda a defesa corintiana. Passou por um, dois, três marcadores, entrou na área, deu um corte no quarto defensor e chutou rasteiro e colocado no canto do goleiro Felipe. Uma peça de antologia no Pacaembu. Um gol de gênio!
