my name is euphoriac, im here simply in the name of black metal. however, i also like some other kinds like death metal ( amon amarth, children of bodom, etc) thrash metal (municipal waste, megadeth, fueled by fire, kreator, etc.) industrial (deathstars) heavy metal (iron maiden, motorhead, etc) some folk metal (korpiklaani...) and even some gothic metal ( Cradle Of filth, graveworm, etc.) but mostly i love black metal ( Mayhem, Darkthrone, Satyricon, 1349, dark funeral, carpathian forest, emperor, etc) i love to play guitar, and i also sing in a death metal band ( corpseye) witch i like to believe i brought a slight black metal atmosphere to with my vocals. i also have a love for herpatology, any kind of reptiles, mostly snakes. i use to have much respect for gaahl, until he was gay. i hate gays, they should all die... BRUTALLY! i used to hate burzum, especially because of the euronymous thing, but after doing some research i found that its not what i thought. looking at the library of burzum, i could tell that the story about euronymous it was quite bias, but it's quite convincing as well. i find the black circle of euronymous to have been very influential, but it was things like this that started the media-hype which brought black metal spiraling down the toilet... especially now euronymous is dead and mayhem is especially shitty, varg is in prison, and darkthrone is doing there whole motorhead craze. then to add on top of all this bands like dimmu borgir are coming around. what is this? these bands are taking black metal and adding completely different layers on top until its a complete different thing, knowing that the members, especially shagrath and hellhammer, are certainly great, they are in this making such horrible sounds! in the words of fenriz "we'll make the bread and you can make the cake, but eventually people grow tired of cake too." some newer bands are still trying to hold the fort though, carpathian forest seems to be doing well, but alot are getting sucked into the death metal thing, like behemoth, which is nice from a death metal point of view, but not as much from a black metal one. dark medieval times is probably the best album ever made. the guitar riffs are amazing, frost's drums just have a sound that so brainwashing it just sucks me in, not to mention satyr's vocals are really good too. another good thing is the great primitive sound to it, it sounds more like darkthrone, than it does the newer Satyricon. the new stuff is bad, the only thing i like about it is the militaristic style.
