The recently uploaded clip on Afghan refugees was shot on 11 October 2008 in Athens.
The original footage on most of the other reels was shot by Pete Spear, Vic Costellos, and a yet to be determined filmmaker, a friend of my Yiayia and Papou Grammas, from Birmingham around 1931.
My parents, grandmother, and aunt provided the original reels or tapes. I transferred the 8mm and 16mm footage to Beta around 1989-91 and then from Beta to MP4. The Vic Costellos reels were already transferred to VHS. I put them on Beta and then digitized to MP4.
