Well, I haven't received a degree in engineering and won't claim to. However, I have studied enough science to realize the idiocy of the so-called Truth movement. Their utter disregard for it is simply baffling to me.

Got here after chatting with you about WTC conspiracy types... I thank GOD every day that I was able to get a good underpinning education in engineering (materials science, metallurgy, combustion, mineral prep, etc. yada yada). The dark ages ignorance out there is stifling to me! No wonder why we have so many useful idiots amongst us! You have to wade through them, layers deep!

Eric is a mate of mine; we met through similar interests. One of those interests is God. Now, I really try to stay out of the political arena, so I will now. Just know that I am a liberal who agrees with a lot of what Eric has to say. That being said, I am also from a different religion (Eckankar) than Eric, and even though closed-minded individuals instantly come to mind when thinking about conservatism, Eric is one of the more enlightened, intelligent people I have ever met. He does not judge me by my religion; he tries to see the similarities as opposed to the differences. If you legitimately have a problem with my mate Eric, you're really just not trying that hard, now are you?

Hi. thanks for your reply i'm glad you took some time to tell me what you think I appreciate that. I'm also glad to see that a conservative person doesn't have to be a bigoted person as many have stated. it's such a common misconception to think that the only way to do politics that benefit people and care about the poor and minorities is through radical liberal thinking. I really hope the bubble bursts soon in Venezuela and they get rid of their dictator so we can live without the constant threat of conflict and we finally stop hearing lies from such a hostile man. thanks again for your reply. have a nice day.

Hi. I have been reading your comments on the Obama video. I must say that i find them really interesting I completely agree with you on the fact that most lies come from the left and not from the right. I live close to Venezuela so i know what a freak left driven madman sounds like. I would like to know anyway what are your thoughts on minorities gay rights for an instance.

dadafish1, how very intelligent of you. NOT!!! You have shown only your own stupidity and ignorance. My advice to you, grow up, get a clue, and learn something. It may help you in life. You are a good example as to why you and people like you have absolutely no idea what you are even talking about. By the way, how's the koolaid?

By we, I meant the human race. Those today may not have taken the fruit directly, but we are still very much responsible for the entrance of sin into this world. It's kind of like the outcry over slavery, which many white men are still apologizing for today even though they weren't there at the time. Just because you weren't there doesn't mean you have nothing to apologize for. That kind of attitude is arrogant and egotistical. We need to account for all our deficiencies, whether they be past, present, or future. This includes the very first sin of the human race.

You responded to one of matmicmj's questions saying this:

"God didn't create sinners, you know. We did when we took the fruit."

I'm just wondering, who is this "WE?" What did you or I or anyone else do to deserve suffering in the eyes of the Christian god? I wasn't there lol.

Well, in a way it was around. Prior to Christ, Christianity was Judaism, as the Messiah had not yet come. The only reason that Christianity has a new name instead of staying "Judaism" is because the Jewish people did not accept Christ as the Messiah, so it was needed to differentiate between the two. John 1:1, "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God."
