This song came out when I was nine-years old. I remember hearing it again and again as it was played on my school bus. Loved it then as now. Only later did I understand the social ramifications of the song.

49 year old male here, and I can say that as a prepubescent teen, this song had me living daydreams about the woman I could one day be wonderful too. I don't know how many other pre-teen males this song had this effect on!
