ERICA TACHOIR is a senior at NYUs Tisch School of the Arts, where she studies film and television production. She has directed seven short films in her time at NYU, and she is currently in pre-production on her final, thesis project. Her past work has won her many accolades, including a Best Sight and Sound Film award at Fusion Film Festival for her short, The Art of Losing. Tachoir has studied under such acclaimed faculty as Robby Benson and Mel Damski, and she was also chosen to study at FAMU in Prague for a 35mm filmmaking workshop in the summer of 2007. In addition to her writing and directing, Tachoir has become respected among her peers as an accomplished editor, completing the picture editing on five festival-bound short films in the past year alone.
