Excellent job, I play myself and I like your version better than mine. Nice tone too, one critique is the ending is a little off base in terms of notes and speed, you went off the scales used by Gilmour, but outstanding performance with the rest of the solo!

@naughtykitten28 Actually, disco was peaking at the same time this song came out - late 70s, and disco does suck when compared to the quality of other music at the time.

Not too bad of a cover, but the lead guitar is just wrong on this, takes away from the simplicity of the song and the swamp-rock feel

goldenhooper, I bow to your superior knowledge on the subject, you are right about the double neck SG, I don't know what I was thinking about there. And I will take your word for it on the studio recordings since you seem to have subject matter expertise, thanks for setting me straight, cheers!

Slash goes Hendrix, amazing solo
From 1 minute on it starts to go really hendrix! Wow!

Weak -sorry but slash just isn't that good, sounds like crap . When Hendrix played - he rocked, slash has no emotion or feeling in his playing, he just picks notes. You can't compare technical speed with creating good music.
