Calling dog/cat meat a cultural tradition is an excuse. In S. Korea, I recently saw a dog being slaughtered as I was passing by the countryside. S. Korea has humane societies like KAPS and KARA that rescue abandoned cats/dogs or those being raised for meat. But they're not as financially stable as the humane societies in the States. If anyone wants to support, here's the website (don't worry: NO VIRUS) for a Korean humane society. http://www.koreananimals.or.kr/english/ http://www.withanimal.net/eng/index.html
Dog/cat meat is something NOT to be taken lightly or ignored. Boiling, skinning, or burning ANYTHING alive should never be tolerated.
