그 이유를 말씀 드리려고 시도해 보겠습니다. 참고로 전 미국에 이민온지 15년 즈음 되었습니당. 발음 아주 나쁩니다. 억울!!

우선 한국사람이라도 다 같은 식으로 말을 하지는 않는것 같습니다. 제가 연구한결과는 다수의 한국인들은 말을 할때 외국인과 완전히 다른 방법으로 소리를 만들어 냅니다. 일종에 따따따따 이렇게 끊어지는 스타일로 말하다 보니까, 일종에 shortcut 이랄까... 쉽게 말하는 버릇들이 들은것 같습니다. 일본인도 마찬가지 이구요. 그래서 몸통이나 가슴을 사용하지 않고 입 속과 비강등에서만 소리를 ...

About the advice given by the female judge,... her lengthening "ah" part in "night" perhpas has to do with her English training because English "ah" is much deeper than Korean "ah." Yes, she seems to overpronounce "ah," but if she follows the female judge's advice too much that can sound Korean...

I don't think they intentionally choose only Koreans. Based on what I've seen so far, Korean participants have been way better than non-Koreans as the standard of selection seems to be extremely high and technical.

But your opinion turns out to be right sin...

haha... somehow, even though her first song wasn't well arraged, I think her Korean singing was very clear.
