http://www.essec.fr | The new ESSEC MSc in Accounting is an intensive and internationally oriented program, designed for those who wish to specialize in Accounting after a bachelor's degree or an M1 degree in Business or Economics. The one-year curriculum designed to develop their skills in accounting is exclusively taught in English.

The courses consist of career-oriented training, a wide range of learning methods including lectures supplemented by analysis of case studies and a Master's thesis oral defense.
This MSc in Accounting includes two tracks - Corporate or Auditing - and aims to prepare its students for different jobs in the public or private sectors, in Asia, North America or France. Graduates are prepared to undertake careers in large or medium auditing firms, multinational corporations, investment banks, consulting firms, and the public sector. They mainly hold positions in public accounting (junior/senior auditor or tax accountant) , industry/corporate (staff/senior accountant, management accountant, internal auditor, financial analyst, investor relations manager, controller, chief financial officer (CFO)) and consulting (management control, mergers and acquisitions, performance measurement systems). Professor Paul André, Program Director of the MSc in Accounting, is also the co-director of the KPMG Financial Reporting Chair. Created in 2005, the Financial Reporting Chair is a center of excellence for reporting to the capital markets. It also provides specialist education to students who wish to build a career in international accounting.
