38 scarab boat test run mid 80s

What drives do you have to run 1200hp? I have 650 x 2 (575sci w/chillers) in my 98 -non-step hull 38' Scarab with Xr's. and feel like maybe they are at their limit. It runs 75-80 at best. These are heavy boats. I would love to take a ride in an AVS hull sometie to see the difference.

Cool, although yes they did build 29 of the P-29's in 1996, this was a custom built (1 only) P-38 that was built in 1998. Apparently an Isralie guy went to wellcraft and had them custom build this boat . It had 220v wall sockets with European plugs and evevrything. I had to convert the wall socke...

John, how do the 2" shorties work work out? I have a '98 (flat hull) with 575sci (intercooled and up to 650 hp) that runs just under 80 mph(77-79). I am running labbed 28" bravos (w/XR's) and was told they may work well. Any blow out issues? thanks
