It is played too fast (I just listened to a copy that is streamed on the french Telerema website). Now on the song itself : charming folksy music in a pastoral mood.

The jazzy mood reminds me of Janis Ian's 'miracle row' album and Joni Mitchell's 'Don Juan's reckless daughter', both recorded around the same time. I also hear echoes of COS' 'Viva Boma' (COS is a belgian "canterbury" band fronted by Pascale Son). Great artist who deserves more recognition.

the quality doesn't matter on youtube, as long as it helps give an idea of the music. In fact, if one likes what he/she hears (like it's the case for me here), he/she buys the album and enjoys the music in optimal quality.

Louis Aubert is a composer who deserves more recognition. Contemporary of Debussy, his music is full of colours. I also like the artwork chosen.

Kit Watkins was the keyboardist and flautist for Happy The Man, a progressive rock band of the late seventies.

Beautiful song by this duet that is known for their contributions to the canterbury bands Hatfield & The North and National Health.

Marvellous trumpetist. Similarly to his mate Patrick O'Hearn in Group 87, he is attracted by ambient music and crafted beautiful landscapes.

Patrick O'Hearn proved to be a very talented composer once he stepped into the world of ambient music (he was previously in jazz-rock acts, first with Zappa then Group 87).

Mike Baker was a very talented vocalist. His death was a real shock.

Ted Leonard's hiring was a huge improvement (the vocalist on this demo version is not Ted).
