I'm an artist and fimmaker who works with found texts and imagery from all aspects of contemporary culture, from corporate slogans to book titles, to classic texts and online diaries, re-working them to examine social beliefs and values. Using different types of authorial voice, her work explores the role of the artist as creator of objects and discourses of value, often with a tragic-comic tone that reflects the difficulty of communication and of originality in a fully mediated world.
