About Me:

Got started in the " Northern Soul " scene around 1978..although too young to visit the esablished " nighters " , i managed to get to the Palais in Notts , Drill Hall Lincoln and Cleethorpes in later years , today its local venues as much as possible and the odd visit to the Monaco nr. Wigan . Over the years i've taken a liking to more earlier sounds , r&b , the odd touch of Doo Wop , mid tempo tracks , touching a bit on crossover and the more obscure.... Most tracks posted are MP3 format , whilst this may infuriate the " old school " , it's almost impossible to buy vinyl without having a lottery grant , respect goes out to those who collect , own and buy however i need to pay my mortgage . The music has made me many friends , some sadly no longer with us , and installed treasured memories it would be a shame to see them go because of " Soul Snobery " . Thanks to every one who is kind enough to visit or/and leave a comment on my channel , the music is there to be shared and loved . Sadly i don't always get the chance to reply , so in advance , many many thanks.
