My name is Erik Loebl and thanks for visiting my page!

I am a 35-something married male with a beautiful wife of 15+ years and 5 children.

We currently reside in the Houston, Texas area.

My profession involves building computer applications and delving into topics pertaining to natural health.

I enjoy building things, that's why I got into programming. I like seeing that what I built works. I learned a while ago that I will make more money working with my head and not with my back. Not a disrepect to those of you who work with your back, every job is respectable, but I choose not to.
I worked in a warehouse and I mowed lawns and experienced being on my feet the working part of the day, but I like building things on the computer better.

Around the home I build things or do repairs that are necessary, and on the computer I build computer applications or web apps and that provides a good income.

In late September of 2005, during Hurricane Rita, I fell unconscious and was taken by ambulance to a hospital in the Houston area. The hospital was under lock-down, no one was allowed to leave. There I had a tumor removed from the back of my head and I spent 18 days in ICU. I was diagnosed with a malignant form of cancer. After many prayers were offered on my behalf, my tumor was reexamined and found to be benign.
