ERIC OXENDINE is an International Recording and Television Artist and Native American Performer with 25 Albums and CD's to his credit, 2 Gold Singles, 2 Movies, and a Gold Medal from the President of Brasil. Eric Oxendine was born in Pembroke,N.C. and is a member of the Lumbee Tribe. Eric Oxendine has worked and performed with music legends such as Steve Miller, Muddy Waters, Frank Zappa. ,Van Morrison, B.B. King, , Jimi Hendrix, Buffy Saint Marie, Richie Havens, Linda Lewis, Staple Singers, Jose Felicianos, Doc Severinson, and many more! From 1992-1994, Eric Oxendine worked for the Smithsonian Institution in NYC at the National Museum of the American Indian as a Cultural Interpreter. At the Mashentucket Museum in Ledyard, CONN., you can see on display a life size statue of Eric Oxendine. Eric has a 40 minute CD of himself and Jimi Hendrix performing at the Generation Club(1968)and at Electric Lady Studios(1970) with a host of stars!!Eric Oxendine currently has recorded several CD's of his music and performs as a solo artist and with his group " Eagle Clan
