ABOUT ME:
I'm Marcos, and I am ecstatic about musical theatre! I study theatre, voice, dance, acting, and I play the piano.
My story: The first big musical I saw on stage was "Phantom of the Opera," and after that, I saw musicals all through that summer. In the fall, I auditioned for my first show, "Jungle Book," and got Mowgli. On my birthday, I went and saw "Wicked" because my teacher said that it was one of his favorite musicals (we also both liked/like "Glee"). "Wicked" was what got me addicted to musical theatre. I remember my mom turning to me after "Defying Gravity" and saying, " I want to see that again!" I replied, "I want to DO that." I want to fly on-stage. After the two shows ("Jungle Book" and "Fiddler on the Roof") I did that fall, I kept doing more and more. And, every time I saw a new professional show, I would go home and research it until it was kind of creepy that I new so much about that show. I now appreciate all musical theatre and love to participate in it and see it! My current musical obsessions are "Sister Act the Musical," "The Addams Family Musical," and "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark the Musical!"
