About Me:
EQUINOX is a fantastic wedding band for the couple who doesn't want the typical "wedding singer" band. That means we don't play "Hot Hot Hot", or "Electric Slide". We also enjoy private parties. Done with bars...but that's where most of these videos were recorded. Our play list includes jazz, blues, pop, alternative, and classic rock and roll...songs by artists like Coltrane, Joplin, Sade, Nirvana, and Hendrix.
What does EQUINOX mean??? Waddup wit dat name? you may ask.
Literally, "Equinox" means "equal nights", referring to the two times of year when the sun crosses the equator, causing day and night everywhere to be of equal length.
Symbolically, our band's name represents our intent to achieve a crowd-pleasing balance of music with its eclectic sound and diverse repertoire.
