@ceb2633 I'm not certain, but are you thinking of "Cross Cry"? It's a 4 part piece written by Gilbert M. Martin with text that's very similar, if not the same, as this wonderful piece.

Why Xe? Take a large "X" and put a small "e" right in the middle and you have a skull and crossbones. Fairly apt for a bunch of amoral hired killers.

I dunno, form follows function. It's a topic that could use a little earth moving and instability. Nobody does scorched earth, apocalypse, topsy turvydom and drug induced weirdness and paranoia like Neil Young and Old Black.
