To understand Morrissey is to understand "loss". His words touch our sadness in a way that he would never trully recognize, since it would make Morrissey look back at the sadder moments of his life and ours. Every song he sings speaks of a dream unbidden, yet unspoken. How many of us know this....

If i could know what it was like for a heart to break due to being disregarded and then left alone in shame, i'd only have to hear his words or reflect on my life. I don't know which is sadder....to hear it him sing his sadness or lived something like it and cry. /sigh
