Yes, Larry does indeed sound much older than his year. I'm reading his book ("Ticket to Ride") and it's a joy to hear about the Beatles' tours from the perspective of a professional journalist.

Rock on, boys. For whatever reason they're on the road again, I am delighted. I have tickets to see them for two shows in the Pacific Northwest. They are a beloved part of my childhood, and I'm glad they're healthy and performing together again.

Oh, I was delighted to be there. What did I think of the "slum housing"? I barely noticed it. I know that area of town is more modest. I remember all the mud, walking in the lines, and how narrow the stadium's entrances are.
