That 1959 Buick Riviera Limitted at 2:59 is worth a fortune when restored propperly! Propperly means with metalwork fixed, not turned into a lump of filler with fresh paint on it.

Could be a real beauty. Recycling indeed has its point..

Einige Airliner können über 100% ihres Leergewichtes zuladen. Dabei auch viele Tonnen an Treibstoff. Im fall der 747 sind das mittlerweile gut über 400 Tonnen. Beim Abheben kein Problem, bei der Landung mit voller Masse haut es die Reifen und Fahrwerk durch. Daher gibt es eine maximale zugelassen...

A380-A legend at its beginning?

No question, the 747-8 is the more elegant plane to look at, especially with that beautyfull new wing. Both planes are phantastic achievements.

Boeings are wonderfull planes indeed. But so are Airbus. Remember the total losses of 747 tank blowing up or 737 losing its rudder control? Those planes are insanely complex machines, and require expert pedantic technicians to make and maintain them. Otherwise there will come a day when they fail...

7.00: Das ist keine Antriebswelle, das ist eine Kardanwelle. Und die hat bei meinem Volvo 55mm, ist also halb so "dick". Antriebswellen sind bei Frontantrieben, und ja, die meisten sind dünner: Diese Kardanwelle mag 5 mal so dick wie eine Antriebswelle sein, das könnte passen.
