I'd like to see Mark do the 100 lap in a Rover 827 vitesse. It only had 180 bhp. Kudos to him for doing the lap anyway but it makes you realise just how good Tony Pond was and the Rover too.

Having read the books, this film looks ok but nothing like the stories. Princess of Mars is a great book and the story follows a thread. What's this NEW POWER crap ?

The visualisation looks just like I imagined the characters to be. As others have said, I hope they make a full series of films as the books are brilliant. Barsoom, Deja Thoris, flyers etc. I'm going to have to read the novels again. I hope they make Chessmen of Mars too.

I hate people who do reviews without any preparation. Unbox the goods beforehand to make sure you don't have to faff about with knives or scissors. Then write a script or at least a few notes. Then make sure you set the filming camera to manual focus, and keep within the relevant depth of field. ...
