@modelleg There's no nitrous on this car. What you're seeing is called a 2-Step. It's popping and missing because it's sitting on the bottom (launch) setting of its rev limiter and the ignition box is holding at a preset RPM. When he launches the limiter returns to its higher setting.

@Cangoloji The venue is called The Edison. It's a former power-generation facility converted into probably the best looking bar/club in Los Angeles.

I absolutely love this van, but I *so* want to do something about that scoop. There's gotta' be a way to get airflow to the radiator without it looking like an afterthought. Just something to make it look less "Yeah...f*ck it...just throw a piece of sheet metal over it..."
