The "new" Hawaii Five -O theme song does not compare to the original. First of all its too short, the original conducted by Morton Stevens was well in almost 2 minutes in the Pilot called COCOON. The acting in the original series was truly a more serious down to earth Cop Drama than todays' rema...

The main lead actor Cliff Robertson passed away today of natural causes. He was 88 years old. He will be sorely missed!!

Thank you very much herblamb I will check out the internet to see if I can find and purchase the Bicentennial Collection by the President's Own (1998). I love the sound of marches which are very timeless. Seems you can listen to them forever and they sound great all the time.

I concur the TV shows were much better produced, directed and the cast was superb!! You will never find shows of the 1960-1970's matching anything like this in any new movies!!

This was the second season CHiPs theme song .. very upbeat ... the first season was jazzed up with the trumpet in place of the violins as you can hear. I like both versions!!
