Enstride was formed in the winter of 2006 with Justin Wright on vocals, Andy Fernandez on guitar, Jeff Schmitt on bass, and Steve Jepson on drums and backing vocals. The group pulls from all their musical backgrounds to make a unique, hard, get-up-and-go sound. Mixing Justin's high melodic melodies with hard low ripping screams from Steve, the group achieves a nice middle ground where people of all ages and musical likes can meet. It is not just the vocals that draw people in but the tight rhythm section between Steve and Jeff and the fast edgy guitar riffs of Andy. To add to the mayhem is the non-stop high energy seen in the live performance of every song at every show.

In such a short time Enstride has overcame many obstacles to make a name for themselves opening for such national acts as Nonpoint, Silent Civilian, Seemless, Ankla, 40 Below Summer, Black Market Hero,Anja and many more. They released their first EP, 'Putting Out The Sun' in the spring of 07', which was co-produced by Max Illidge (formally of 40 Below Summer) and engineered by Micah Havertape (formally of Flaw).
