If humans didnt have noses and had no sense of smell we would be surrounded by smells but have no fucking idea. If someone had some amazing experience where they were able to smell they wouldnt be able to explain it to people who never experienced smell before because it would be a totally alien/weird incomprehensible thing and they would sound crazy. Pretty unlikely that the human senses are the end all be all of senses. Pretty likely there are certain layers/levels/dimensions (whatever language you want to use) of reality that we cant normally perceive/comprehend. Oh, and Oprah is an alien.
