You need to use "Extra Virgin, Unrefined" Coconut Oil. It smells like coconut, nothing else. The smell probably came from other chemicals mixed with this version. It doesn't sound like "Extra Virgin, Unrefined.

Alcohol is NOT good for hair, natural or permed. Parabins, mineral oils, dimethacones are NOT good for hair.

I don't necessarily want to use expensive products, but I want products that are not loaded with "chemicals", and the cheaper products are usuallly loaded with chemicals.
