Why Barbra Streisand instead of Jane Fonda? Robert made 3 movies with Jane (Barefoot in the Park, The Chase, and The Electric Horseman) and I loved them more than The Way We Were.

I wish this movie had Natalie Wood as Redfor's beloved. That would have been more credible.

I loved them in This Property is Condemned, although it had a very sad story and ending. I didn't like Inside Daisy Clover much because he played a gay and narcissistic actor there. But all the sizzling looks and hot kisses they shared made me envy Natalie so much I wanted to hate her.

@JasonMarano I doubt someone who owns a lot of properties and makes money off them is a communist. You're the one who comes across as one, and your envy and prejudices are showing. And if 5' 10" is short, then you, little person, must be a midget.

This movie is one of my alltime favorites. Betty Hutton really did her trapeze act and Gloria Grahame really put herself under an elephant's foot. I doubt any of the overly pampered actresses today could do either of that.

@mycheetah10 You're right. I'm just so disappointed that there's no great Edward vs Jacob fight scene like the one in New Moon between Edward and the Volturi, and that apparently Bella's mind couldn't be read or controlled and Jane couldn't make her feel pain for no special reason.

Even in this one Kristen doesn't speak, but she and Charlize going head to head is worth looking forward to. The guys, not really. Give me Hugh Jackman or Orlando Bloom or James McAvoy!

I really envy her and also like her. She's clearly experimenting with all this superficial fashion and magazine covers stuff like any other young actress. I hope she grows sick of it all fast.

@TheJaaesa I guess what I really meant was that none of the others were believable as kids in a gang from a rough neighborhood. They looked too much like what they were-- dancers, not at all rough and dangerous. I wouldn't avoid them on the street. I'd probably approach them and flirt with them.

Russ and Debbie had very good chemistry. How I wish they had made more movies together.

He's like Clark Gable, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin all in once. Manly, suave and elegant. I wish he would dress casually sometimes, though. He looks too neat.
