Salon is a pioneering visual arts development agency committed to facilitating the professional development of deaf and hard-of-hearing visual artists. We do this through running activities in partnership with mainstream art venues that involve making art, shared experiences, peer critique, team-building work and empathy.

We also do outreach work with schools, where deaf visual artists act as role models, working with deaf young people and children to inspire them to think out of the box and unlock new creativity.

We promote diversity within deaf and hard-of-hearing visual art practice and regularly commission documentaries by way of marketing our work effectively.
