Over the next few months we will be posting some of the papers and plenaries from our upcoming conference "Emergent Critical Environments: Where Next for Ecology and the Humanities?" (http://emergentenvironments.wordpress.com/) which focussed on tracking new developments in the relationship between environmentalism, ecology and criticism in the arts and humanities. We'll also be hosting shorter videos that engage more generally with some of the central issues surrounding environmentalism, ethics and the conceptual history of nature, the strained but vital relationship between science and the humanities, and the politics, aesthetics and economics of ecology.
