Queer poet Cindy Emch is an accordion player for the bands Vagabondage, Rhubarb Whiskey and the Oakland Wine Drinkers Union, Local #88. These accordion bands are heavily influenced by Amanda Palmer, Jason Webley, the Dresden Dolls, Weimar Berlin, flappers, whiskey, americana, sepiachord, newgrass, bluegrass and more. They play tunes about drinking and the open road. Emchy and her accordion travel the road and collaborate with other travellers with tall tales to tell.
