hello, maybe you can help me understand something. That Correlation between the sizes of magnets, number of coil turns and wire gauge.
if I want to make a generator of 3 or 5 kW, as determined by the size of the magnet, the number of magnets, wire gauge and number of laps.

thanks in advance and I hope your answer

Great stuff. I cant stop watching! but a few questions if I may? Are you able to say what is most efficient yet? Serpentine or coils? can one use dual rotors with a serpentine set up? regardless, for coil and serpentine have you found 1-3-4-or 5 phase most efficient?

Here in Baltimore we have low winds of 9 mph, so that is my reference. Your conditions seem similar yet you seem to like to use heavier gauge wire than preferred for low wind, no?

Also, I see you used a motor (presto?) for your VAWT-18. Could we use one of your serpentine stators to out perform this motor?

And lastly, it would seem logical that gearing up a motor, as u did in '08 would be the best thing to do in general, however I dont think I have seen you do it since?

I wounder if it would be cool to have all 7 of your tall skinny ones pullying to the shaft of one large generators. Might be tough to start hugh? Thanks for your input!

oh i totally appreciate all the advice and info i can find on the web, i just think it would be awesome for people with interests like mine and yours to gather in person for a monthly workshop with hands on ( in person ) builds and experiments. i understand everyone lives miles if not countries apart, just a dream is all!!!
