@sklups Just received a 1970 Selmer two weeks ago. Sounds very much like yours. I like your playing. You should check out Denis Colin's "Seul" album. A solo bass clarinet album. Keep the good playing.

@joeyflay Yes, it's beyond jazz. It's spiritual, it changes our perception of time, makes it float and let us able to be fully present to that very moment. It's meditative music.

Probably the best film on jazz ever. Possibly the best film on music.

@crumbfish Now this is really really cool information. Thanks. When did Sprague start to release their "Atom" caps? They seem to have become a reference of quality of cap for amps.

@micahnewman I've just found the chord sequence (mostly Cm, Bb, D#, F). It's very reminiscent in fact of 16th English folk music.

@dtegg91 Interesting comment. Solo drums are rarely nice to hear anyway. Drummers become self indulgent quickly. Exceptions are Chico Hamilton's "The 3 faces of Chico" and a few others like Max Roach's "Drums also waltz" or Joe Morello's "Far more drums".
