Don't know much about MySpace, etc. I am 49: but profile says 39. I am always apprehensive about putting too much inforomation online. The YouTube favorites I save are either things from my youth, things that can make me laugh, hard to find vintage TV or movie clips, or classic music.
I have an offbeat and irreverent sense of humor. I like dry, subtle humor, and anything over the top. I also like a lot of comedy from the past, as they were the masters: Lucille Ball, Bob Hope, Jack Benny, Milton Berle. They laid the foundation for today's Jim Carrey's and others.
Like a lot of old music: Ray Charles, Elvis, anything well done. "Old" doesn't mean "no good": you must appreciate the past to understand the present in any facet. I appreciate all forms of music, even types I don't generally prefer. As I get older, am interested in learning about music and other things I wasn't able to in my youth. Interesting that your areas of interest grow; they are not lessened or diminished. I like that: have an open and curious mind.
Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish, trying to pursue a career as a private Spanish interpreter. We will see what happens there. I figure my Spanish is pretty good when Americans ask me where I learned my English!
I do not tolerate people who cause unnecessary problems for other people or myself, and trust very carefully. Once an individual has hurt that trust, I will not trust them again. (Once bitten, twice shy).
Spend too much time on YouTube, but enjoy finding old things I haven't seen in years, and finding the unusual or unexpected. Save this kind of stuff, too.
Have also found I enjoy connecting with people on YouTube via comments. And yes, the Swedish Chef is hilarious. Henson's crew had to have had a blast doing this stuff. Simple things can often make us laugh if we will let it. In the 70s, comedy did not have to resort to shock, and that is a sign of comedic skill. But hey, I like Eddie Murphy, too--
Best Wishes to All.
