The first video episode of Dramatic Impact: Acting and Theatre in Alberta ( visit us at http://www.acting-and-theat... ) features an interview with the chair of the Theatre Production program and with two students. The Theatre Production program is a two year training program in technical theatre at Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Students in the program get hands-on training in such aspects of theatre as lighting, set building, sound, wardrobe, props, draftting, and stage management. All of the interviews and footage were shot by director and videographer Brandon Rhiness during production week at MacEwan for the world premiere of the play The Addlepated Nixie by Canadian playwright Stewart Lemoine.
