But Birds fed cheap 'all seed' diet may be 'fat' , yet malnourished with 'Fatty Livers' . Equals very sick bird after a few years.

@MrAussiebogan So now we have "degrees of cruelty?" Abuse is abuse. These birds are intelligent and sensitive and remember bad treatment. Many pluck or self mutilate afterward. They also live to be 50 years old or more!

This bird can't fly and likely knew he was in dire peril!
