It makes my heart sad to see such a common disuse of this liturgy. Personally speaking, I wish Vatican II had never compromised the Tridentine Mass.

My input does not negate the fact that Paul was speaking of idolatry in this chapter of his epistle. Paul was informing Christians that they cannot worship idols while partaking of the Eucharist. PLEASE, I urge you, to read the New Testament in the original Greek.
