About this user

Bone Cancer Survivor, Mother of three, Granny of eight, and Great-Granny of four. I am owned by four cats; one sleek, shiny blue-black male cat named Ninja, one lovely all white female named Queen Bambi, an odd eyed white male cat rescued from the swampland, named Timmy, the Timid, and the baby of the family is Buffy, the Bampire Flayer. She's one very tough kitty and has taken over the whole pride.! Admittedly, I'm turning into one of those crazy cat ladies!

With a life full of chaos and change, I finally learned my purpose in life thanks to the internet. As a Chondrosarcoma survivor, I created an online support group for others with this very rare diagnosis.

And most recently I have been diagnosed with Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia. Without my kitties I would not be so well comforted through this next new journey for the rest of my life!

I live on the lovely central coast of California on the Monterey Bay. This is home with a capital H. I really love it here.
