I am in the USA for a business project of 6 months. And I've found this Greek Tavern in where I live right now. Had a nice dinner with RAKI/UZO and met the owner of the place. He is a Greek also. Had so much to talk about. And I remember you and thougth about telling you about it. One glass of UZO was for you my friend.

@belushi: Ok belushi maybe you are right and the Greeks were fashists and Hotza ragime was the democrats if makes you happy. What you say about the Tsamis and Arvanites is wrong. Arvanites never were Tsamis, surprised that you confuse this. You can see only lately some Tsamis that they call themselves Arvanites.

About schools is a big discussion that you are correct but not totally, if you know what happend after WWI. Your country did not raise any issue about Tsamis minority in Greece then or after WWII but only recently. But your country agreed that there were Greek minority in Albania, so they were obliged to have schools, but what was tought in these schools is discussable. During this period there was a big project called "exchange of populations" in the Balkans and Asia Minor, agreed by all countries to make their nations more uniform. And each country sent several hundreds or thousands to the other side on exchange with their ethnic ppl with some exceptions of course.

for the Greek minority of Albania ,living in the region of Gjirokastra and Dropull, there exist 98 elementary schools (8 years), 4 professional middle schools, as well as the Institute of Greek Language. At the regions of Korca and Devoll, there are elementary schools for the Macedonian minority members in every village, as well as some middle schools in the main villages. HOW MANY ALBANIAN SCHOOLS EXIST IN GREECE,,,=0

@belushi: It was not so before. You can say that today, cause during Hotza ragime, religion rights and identity was forbiden, to unite the different origins and minimise the hate between them. But ask yrself why Arvanites hated the most the Othomans and their supporters (yr ancestors). Why Mpotsaris wanted to annex Albania to Greece.

@pirrothecham: You still talk about ethnicity on linguistic reasoning. You know very well that this is a very simple and wrong way to judge the matter and you get false results. You refuse to answer why they fought for Greece, waved the Greek lavars and flag, joined the Greek Army and the Greek Goverment. Why did they want to annex Arvanon to Greece? Why they did not ask for an independent Arvanite or Albanian or Tsamic state? Why most historians would consider them Greeks and not Albanians? Good points, don't you think?
