ΙΧΘΥΣ (Ichthys) is the Greek word for 'fish' and was used in the catacombs as a sign (an acronym) by the early Christians. It is made up of the first letter of the five Greek titles for the Lord - Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior:

Prayer For Christian Unity ✟

Lord Jesus Christ, at your Last Supper you prayed to the Father that all should be one. Send your Holy Spirit upon all who bear your name and seek to serve you. Strengthen our faith in you, and lead us to love one another in humility. May we who have been reborn in one baptism be united in one Faith under one Shepherd. Amen.

I am a mainstream Catholic and I support all the doctrines/teachings of the Roman Catholic Church; including the Vatican II reforms. I believe in the dignity and sanctity of all human life. I'm a sinner working to gain my Salvation by the divine grace of God with the guidance of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. My views tend to be on the conservative side of the political spectrum. When I was younger I served in the U.S. Army and Army Reserves. I now live in the midwest.
