Elder Marvin Lewis Tiller Jr., B.A., a native of Baltimore, Maryland, was born on June 16, 1988, to Marvin L. Tiller, Sr., and Sharon A. Sampson. He received his education through the Baltimore City Public School Systems, and on Saturday, June, 2, 2007, graduated from Edmondson-Westside Senior High School where he held the positions of Executive Coordinator & Treasurer of the graduating class of 2007. He also played the Tuba in the Edmondson-Westside High School Marching Band, Concert Band, and Played the Piano in the Jazz Ensemble. On Saturday May, 7, 2011, Marvin graduated, Magna Cum Laude from Shaw University with his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion/Philosophy. Marvin has served in many capacities on Shaw Universities Campus. He served as a Residential Advisor and sat on the Executive Board of the Student Government Association. In April 2011 he was inducted as a Lifetime member into the North Carolina Eta Chapter of the Alpha Chi National College Honors Society. Elder Tiller Preached his initial sermon, "Deliverance," on Sunday December 27, 1998, and on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, was ordained an Elder in the Charismatic Churches of God in Christ, International under the leadership of the Late Presiding Bishop James Arthur Parson, Sr. He was a dedicated member of the New Commandment Church, in Baltimore, Maryland from 1998-2009 where he served as Minister of Music and Youth Pastor. He is now a member of Kingdom Building Ministries in Cary, North Carolina under the leadership of Pastor Kwana D. Farrar. He also serves as the 1st Assistant & Chief Administrator of Son's and Daughter's Empowerment Fellowship a fellowship that is about impacting lives through Kingdom empowerment. Edmondson-Westside High School's slogan states: "Excellence Demands Sacrifice" and Marvin strongly believes in being a living testimony of that slogan.. Marvin also lives by and encourages people of Matthew 19:26, "But with GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE." Elder Tiller is a hard working, diligent, humble, anointed, ministry minded man of God whose overall desire in life is to Build the Kingdom of God and serve the Lord with all that is within him.
