the cord did not "BREAK" the end of the cord called the termination where the rubber wraps around a plastic spool was obviously not built right. And it allowed the continuous rubber loops to "peel" lose from the spool giving the illusion that it broke. Those kinds of cords just DO NOT BREAK!!!! ...
